That's where Rev R Parsley pastors right?
I used to watch his tv show many years ago
on a regular basis.
I never once heard him say they baptized in the
Name of Jesus. Maybe he's changed? I wonder
if it's mentioned on their website?

In 1985-86 RP re-baptized many in Jesus name. However, it is not a point of belief and practice. In fact they will baptize you any way you desire. (I formerly pastored in Columbus, OH and knew RP fairly well) We had a man who came to our church on a Sunday evening who told us that he went to church there that Sunday morning, felt conviction and responded desiring to be baptized along with about 40-50 others. When he got to the top of the stairs to go down into the baptistery, the minister looked up at him and asked "how do you want to be baptized?" He told them they were the experts do it however it is supposed to be done. The minister baptized him Father son and Holy Spirit.
On another occasion I called World Harvest's prayer line three times and asked them what do I need to do to be saved. The first time the lady told me to just believe in Jesus Christ, pray a prayer of repentance and whala I am saved. I asked about baptism, she said well if you can you should get baptized by sprinkling/immersion (didn't matter which) and that it should be in the name of the Father. Son, & Holy Spirit. Receiving the Spirit baptism was not necessary but was something you should desire.
The second call the man told me that I just needed to pray the sinners prayer and that I was saved. When asked about baptism he told me that if I could it would be a good thing but not necessary. The Holy Spirit baptism was not something that was needed but nothing wrong with it either.
The third call, the operator was a woman who told me that I needed to repent, be baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost. When I asked her about baptism (this was hilarious to me) she said, "Well I don't know what Pastor Parsley believes, but I believe it must be by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ. (She obviously had some OP roots) She told me to read Acts 2 and I would find all I needed to get saved.
World Harvest's soteriology is classic AG.

Im cool with that. I like it. Im fulfilling that prophecy here this morning!
Jesus preexisted as YAH and still is.

Denial? No way. Jesus was/is God almighty. For whatever reason some have difficulty when it is stated that Jesus was the Son of God, who was sent by the Father in heaven...
This is the clear language of scripture. The Father "gave" the Son... and "sent" His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.
It becomes nonsensical to say Jesus, the only begotten Son, sent the Son...
Much better to preserve the proper distinctions. The Father (God beyond the incarnation) sent the Son (who was God in the incarnation).
Not a distinction of persons in the Godhead - God is one, but with simultaneous modes of existence. One mode in and through the incarnation, and yet another as the continued existence of God beyond the incarnation.
The Isaiah passage does reference Christ as Father of Eternity, reaffirming his absolute deity and eternalness. This should not be taken as reference to the parental relationship the Son (who was God in the incarnation) had with His Father (God beyond the incarnation).

Re: All Trinitarians are Lost!!!!!!!!!!!
Did you know RP well as in cultivating a relationship with him? Oneness pentecostals in Columbus can't stand RP. To say you know RP is like saying you know Barak Obama.
I know members of his inner circle. His youth pastor has preached at our church. I have open access to t
My eyewitness account occured in 2011. Someone was baptized. The preacher was observing from the platform. There was no way the preacher could have asked the person how they wanted to be baptized. The preacher clearly invoked the name of Jesus in front of thousands of people. No one questioned the preacher.
It's bush league to tie up a prayer line with silly doctrinal questions. The prayer line is for people who need prayer. You don't discover one's doctrinal statement by calling a prayer line.
Meanwhile back on topic. The facts are a 3 person trinitarian baptizes in Jesus name as mandated in Acts 2:38. If Acts 2:38 is the blueprint, Epley will be rubbing elbows with RP in heaven. Poetic justice.

Re: All Trinitarians are Lost!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope I can be saved....seems like I have done so little...We oneness people (and never have a doubt I am oneness from the top of my head to the sole of my feet) however we are so proned to deciding things on who is going to be saved we forget ALL THINGS are weighed in judgment...I always ask God to forgive me and help me be saved. I will stand in judgment with those have signed their testimony with their own blood...I have not done that...only when I give my all can I qualify to judge others...until then I will keep on preaching Acts 2:38, Deut. 6:4 along with the rest of the Bible...and leave the judging to God...

Amen Sister. I affirm that salvation is by grace and not by our own works. But I pray for that grace to be more evident in my life by the fruit I demonstrate, especially in my giving all for the gospel's sake.
