It is obvious to me, one who watches more than plays with the group.
If the sister is offended, there are many other chances around here then just you.

That's the "personal interest." No hidden agenda.
As for the statements Rhoni has made being made by others...I don't read this board 24/7, so the posts of others have passed me by.
Sorry if that offends you, and I promise to call out the next one I read...hope this response is sufficient...

That is right...Barb and I are friends . We agree to disagree at times, and even get on each other's last nerve from time to time - but I love her and she loves me and I depend upon her prayers.

Dimples,
Thank you. I appreciate your observations and do wish at times someone else would get picked on or called out...but today my nerves are stable...tomorrow I may have a break down...but such is life.
I just love dimples

Is someone else writing as Rhoni?
No certified counselor would write the part in red. Reactions are learned behaviour and shouldn't be blamed on God.

I'm not asking you to change the way you are...a person can't do that just because someone asks them to.
All I'm saying is you may have some valid points that are lost in the presentation. A softer tone would go a long way, sis...that's the respect I'm talking about.
When I met you, you wore slacks, had on light makeup, and your hair was cut. I never ONCE thought you were a backslidden liberal, or that you had 'gone Charismatic', or anything other than who you are.
Further, had I dared to think those things, I never would have said them on this or any other forum.
I'm just asking the same respect from you, and anyone else.

It strikes me when reading this, that we expect so much more from counselors / therapists then we do from anyone else.
Do we expect our medical doctors to never get sick? Dentists to never forget to floss? Mechanic's cars to never break down?
Rhoni's a therapist, yes. But she's also just a person. Like all of us, she is alternately wise and foolish, good and bad, rational and emotional, perceptive and blind....and so on.

What we do expect is for them to post up to their level of knowledge instead of excusing behaviour.
