Re: Seven Days of Sex... Woo Hoo!! :)

I firmly believe that the bedroom of a married couple and their personal interests are private. I don't care how strange, wrong, or immoral it may seem to someone else or even in relation to the Word of God...it's strictly their business and their lifestyle to work out as they mature spiritually and emotionally together. I know that my wife and I have had interests, adventures, experiences, etc that could offend the sensibilities of many of our brothers and sisters. Most of these things are harmless fun, but I know we've crossed a few lines during various seasons of our relationship and in different periods in our lives. But guess what...that's our business. Unless one is a pastor they really should tread lightly when dealing with the intimacy and personal private interests of a husband and a wife.

Re: Seven Days of Sex... Woo Hoo!! :)

American Christianity is so very focused on sex sin it's really strange. We condemn things that the Bible addresses as perfectly normal. For example....
Song of Solomon 5:2-5 (NLT)
2 I slept, but my heart was awake,
when I heard my lover knocking and calling:
“Open to me, my treasure, my darling,
my dove, my perfect one.
My head is drenched with dew,
my hair with the dampness of the night.”
3 But I responded,
“I have taken off my robe.
Should I get dressed again?
I have washed my feet.
Should I get them soiled?”

4 My lover tried to unlatch the door,
and my heart thrilled within me.
5 I jumped up to open the door for my love,
and my hands dripped with perfume.
My fingers dripped with lovely myrrh
as I pulled back the bolt.
Here's a young woman who's laying in bed eyes closed, but her heart's awake thinking about her lover. Her lover comes to the door and tries to get in to her. She jumps up to let him in...her hands dripping with lovely "myrrh". The passage is rather suggestive.

aaahhhh...let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth for thy love is better than wine...

You took a good post and ruined it by giving it your own meaning.

Ew. I agree with Renda.

Keep some of your thoughts to yourself.
