Thi type of control freak pastor is not limited to any area of the country, or just in the AMF.

I can't believe some that say they have been in pentecost for however many years and they have never seen or heard of these kind of churches.

I am very glad you have not...and to me it is sadder than you can know...because I was saved into that church...it was a terrible thing to go through...thankfully I am healed now and very happy and love God so much!

I've noticed that some who are living under this type of regime are clueless to it's exsistence. They just think it's normal.

Don't please don't be critical of those that are happy and don't have this problem...its hard for many who have never been in this situation to see it, or understand it...my old pastor is higly revered in our district, those that have never sat under him have no clue...they really don't!

Thats just it. The tactic used to control. "If the righteous are barely saved, you surely do not want to disobey ME??" Usually what follows is a story about someone who disobeyed their pastor once and dropped over dead.

The reasoning behind all this was to prevent people from being offended...and prevent problems...which of course did just the opposite...it was his way of doing things and he saw nothing wrong with it....

One of the saddest things was sis...when I went back briefly last year....my senior pastors wife(my original pastor) came up to me hugged me and said oh sister soinso...I want so much to make it to heaven....it just killed me that she would doubt it after all her years in the church....
