UPC pastors going on TBN (Praise the Lord Program) .
I thought it was "pass the large plate"...program...
Sandra..I'm just messing with you...... I'm actually glad somebody is going on TBN hopefully it will help in dealing with the false doctrine that is being preached there...
Oh, I forgot.
Facial hair is OK for African Americans and Hispanics.
It's just the white guys that lose the Holy Ghost if they go for too many hours without shaving.
It's sorta like the doctrine that uncut hair is only for white ladies in the United States. Other races and other countries don't have that requirement.

I agree with you sandra/vicki. The best of upc is yet to come. I have tv and satellite and my hunger for God hasn't changed one bit. Is there any way we can hasten upc preachers on tbn?? who can we talk to, to get these preachers on? let us know here on aff when it does happen, I'll be sure to tune in and let my unsaved family know to tune in also.
Considering your current acceptance of the heracy of eternal security, I dont find the above a ringing endorsement.

The days can't be bright when going into darkness.
No offense, but from the last 3 posts of yours I'd say you might want to get some help. The allusions you made concerning the UPC and its recent action of lifting a 30 year old ban display a serious lack of perspective.
Go outside at night and look up at the sky. Consider the vastness of space and the the stars. Climb a mountain - even a small one, but one with a great view. Look out over the vast earth spread before you. Do a Bible Study that covers a long time period and compare that to the time that has elapsed since Asuza Street. Just the two blank pages between Malachi and Matthew covers a time span of 400 years. That's 2 entire lifetimes of our nation, the United States.
Broaden your horizons and consider how big God is. Then stretch yourself to try and fit Him - don't crumple Him up to try and fit you.
Though I am not against Res 4, and as a mater of fact, think it is long overdue, I retiterate what I said two weeks ago...I see nothing to be happy about here nor do I believe the days ahead are bright.
Sorry that this may not be a popular view, but seeing brethren who have walked together for decades separate over what some see as a loss of conviction grieves my spirit.
And while some view a split as a purging, while others see it as a necessary tool for growth, I see it as a mistake.
It has been noted to me recently that there didn't seem to be the uproar or cry back in '92, but I can assure you that had I been around then (I was COOLJC at the time and oblivious to what was happening in the UPCI), and had I been online with y'all, I would been making the same statements as now.
This great organization, which for all of her faults HAS been great, was founded on the principle of unity, or as Bro. Witherspoon called it, "this blessed spirit of unity."
This good man of God referred to the men in both camps as "ministers of like precious faith."
Though there were differences, "all lesser points...gave way in a sweet spirit of submitting one to another. This will always bring victory over division."
"No compromise of principle or truth" was made, and it was determined to be "God's will for us to one."
So I'm asking...when did God change HIS mind?!
Was it His will to merge in '45 and now His will to split in '07?!
Who has seen the handwriting on the wall to know this is so?!
Are y'all still not ministers of "like precious faith?!"
Does submission to one another no longer bring "victory over division?!"
Yes sir I surely do. Try Demas????????????????
Try the false teachers Paul turned over to Satan????
Paul in FACT stated he could become a castaway after preaching to others.
Paul wrote a complete chapter warning the Corinthians they could be lost. 1Cor. 10.!
Just because they were in sin and not in current fellowship does not mean they are lost. I remember at least one that Paul turned over to Satan for the destruction of his body and the saving of his soul. Paul could become a castaway as a leader and yet not lose out eternally.
