The early church practiced circumcision for a few years. Did God change his mind on that one?

My question is.."Did God change His mind about these things through the years or were they man-made from the beginning?"

This makes a lot of sense to me. Perhaps one of my problems during the years is my questioning "the rules". Nevertheless, God gave us all a brain to think and the HG leads us into all truth, right? I certainly respect my mom and others who never deviated from their teachings.

Exactly right. Yet we hear about the OLD paths. A lot of the "holiness standards" are "new" revelations.
I realize some held them all along, but they were not nationwide. The more conservative forced them upon everyone in later years.

Some use vaseline on their eye lashes to make them darker and longer, also to make your lips shiney. This was preached against at my church.
