Rev 1:12 And I turned to see the voice that spoke with me.

Rev 10:4 And when the seven thunders spoke their sounds, I was about to write. And I heard a voice from Heaven saying to me, Seal up what things the seven thunders spoke, and do not write these things.

Exo 17:14 And Jehovah said to Moses, Write this, a memorial in a book, and set it in the ears of Joshua, that I will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heavens.

Exo 34:1 And Jehovah said to Moses, Cut out two tablets of stone like the first. And I will write upon the tablets the words that were in the first tablets which you broke.

Exo 34:27 And Jehovah said to Moses, Write these words for yourself; for on the mouth of these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel.

Nuff said?
Very good scripture showing that God directed Moses' words!

No, I am not smarter than God! Just stupid simple questions!

Like I said before, I'm playing the devil's advocate to make people think! I'm just pulling chains!
I figured as much from a bible college educate man......

There's are a lot of things that could have been done to leave no doubt, but then where would faith come in?

Yup. God spoke directly to Moses....not just thoughts. In fact NOT just to Moses. Let's also not forget Jesus is God incarnate and he spoke directly to the Apostles

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

I can tell you first hand that a bible college education ain't all that!!

The very foundation of our faith rests on the Holy Bible being the word of God. One must have faith that every word and every book in the bible is there by devine direction.

Not a snide question but have you actually studied the history of the Bible and it's transmission?

This resource is helpful. http://www.amazon.com/God-Us-How-Got.../dp/0802428789

Never went to bible college myself so I wouldn't know.....

Quote:
Rom 3:1 - Rom 3:11 (KJV)
1What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision?
2Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.
3For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?
4God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.
5But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who taketh vengeance? (I speak as a man)
6God forbid: for then how shall God judge the world?
7For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner?
8And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just.
9What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;
10As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
11There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
What do you make of this text?

I have to an extent. I haven't gotten "deep" into it to the point of reading some of the epistles and gospels that were determined to be heresy or fakes.

I think it's a good idea for all to spend some time on the subject.
