Why should one poster be given deference over any other poster, especially when they post anonymously? Those who post here with their true names have a little more hutzpah, if you ask me.
How do we know a poster is a preacher?
That's the dynamic that makes things sparky and spicy and creates FABULOUS discussions that are extremely interesting.
Why is it that a person's I.Q. immediately goes off the charts when they are recognized as a preacher/minister/evangelist? I've met a few who shunned higher learning and couldn't form a coherent thought if you paid them, but by-cracky they were untouchable because they were a LICENSED MAN-A-GAWD!
I've also met a few who received so many accolades for their incredible insight and superior wisdom concerning the scriptures that they hauled off and started themselves a weird camp out in the woods. What's up with THAT???
Us lowly laymen/women AIN'T supposed to question these people????
I'm NOT bashing preachers...just suggesting that in the discussion forum atmosphere (insert better term here), we should all be valued by what we are able to contribute...the posts speak for themselves...if we happen to disagree, why must that be equated to "BASHING???"
If you are a lurker and you simply enjoy reading reading reading, You are still letting your opinion be known and contributing to the number of views on a thread...what are folks most interested in? Lurkers are valuable too!
We need us some sort of Constitution i.e. "And we hold these truths to be self-evident...that all men, women, preacher or layperson, lurker or frequent poster shall be valued equally..." etc., etc.

Dora, disagreeing in no way indicates bashing.
I think folks knows what bashing is.
