D4T,
I despise that wait and see attitude that sometimes shows up when someone comes home.
Of course, the insult is not to the returning and restored child of God... it is to God himself for they are ultimately questioning the power of God to do the work for which he robed himself in flesh and endured the cross.
it isn't really about us... it is about HIM... both good and bad!

There is more hope that a Presbyterian will understand Acts 2:38 than a Oneness Pentecostal Church to deny the Manual.

Berk,
I would RATHER you be in a church that teaches basic doctrinal truths according to the Word of God. If you are not going to do that then you are just as well off if not better off in a Presbyterian church than in a backslidden Oneness church.

Yes sir...
I believe that there are many (who might have left a church because of superficial issues) that would come back to GOD sooner.... if they didn't have to come back to the PEOPLE as well.
Sad.

People are always going to be imperfect and disapoint you at times, and this is always going to be a good excuse for those who don't want to live for God.
The arrogance of such an excuse is crystal clear--as if they, the "wounded," are perfect themselves.
If you reject His Body, you can't have Him.
