Ahead of Kushner’s address on Monday, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) had killed 55 Palestinians and injured over 2,700 more at protests along the Gaza-Israeli border. The sixth week of the Great Return March has been the most deadly, and was described by the Palestinian government as a “terrible massacre.”

Monday’s wounded include 74 children and 23 women, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health. The total number of casualties at the protests stands at 97 over the six weeks.

"We believe, it is possible for both sides to gain more than they give – so that all people can live in peace – safe from danger, free from fear, and able to pursue their dreams," Kushner’s said at the embassy opening on Monday.

The violence in Gaza has nothing to do with moving the US Embassy to Jerusalem. Hamas has been inciting violence for years.

I believe that we can be very right about things, yet have the wrong delivery.

For example, we can preach against homosexuality because that is the Word. However, if I stand up and say, "God made Adam and Eve, He didn't make Adam and Steve." That is condescending and, frankly, it comes across as though the speaker has no confidence that homosexuals can be delivered or that they care one way or the other. Wrong delivery, IMO.

Palestinians and Israelis are identical, they hate each other and would like to wipe each other out. I hate the fact that my tax dollars go to both to support their ongoing feud. Meanwhile, Trump is Making Israel Great Again and - once again - Americans are left behind. The hypocrisy is astounding.

They are not identical. Israeli Arabs have the same rights as Israeli Jews. There are Arabs in the Knesset and one of Israel's supreme court Justice is an Arab.
There are zero Jews that even live in Gaza, because they would be killed.
Our main friend in the Middle East is Israel. Jordan is also an ally, but they always seem to be hanging on by a thread.
Insofar as those who are now being critical of the Israeli response to the attempted invasion, how would you have them to react?
