Re: Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus:
Okay. I admit it. Santa Clause does exist. It's a town in Spencer County, Indiana. I used to live near it.

I don't want to judge this 5-year old's parents. Whether I agree with it or not, for secular people, Santa brings them happiness and comfort.

Ok, thank you for the explanation.
I'm just asking for some clarification, so should we not bash the fat elf because it provides comfort for secular society? If the answer is no, we shouldn't bash the fat man in the red pajamas because he comforts the secular crowd. Then, should we also lay of other topics which give them comfort?

I'm not against bashing the fraudulent, fat, elfish man wearing the red pajamas. I just didn't want to judge the parents for their bringing him to the hospital for their son. I don't agree with it, certainly wouldn't do it myself. But they did what they did and just lost their young child.

AFF is a place where issues just as silly as the communion wafer get discussed ad infinitum.
You say "it's time to get serious". Can you clarify what you mean by that?

What a sad story.. this poor little boy spent his last moments of life with a stranger who offered him no hope for eternity other than elfism!
