No no no....stop confusing us with the FACTS...we want to feel good about the galacticly foolish decision to vote for Obama in 2012...

JD has been trying to ease his conscience for a while now. Deep down he knows this is a regrettable presidency.

DB,
Two wrongs don't make it right.
Furthermore, whatever happened to the moral majority?

I harp on these things because MOST REPUBLICANS that I interact with won't even acknowledge what I'm talking about-- thus the huge problem of a shrinking party with the base moving further and further to the right, dooming itself to irrelevancy at the national level and eventually, locally-- though it will take a little longer for that happen. I hope this doesn't happen, but the GOP won't change its ways!

Ok Brother.

President Obama has definitely made a few mistakes, but I do not think President Obama's presidency is regrettable.

I am glad he won his first and second terms.

Name the GOP Governor or member of Congress who "took it to a hateful level." You keep making this claim, yet haven't offered proof of a GOP official, Governor or member of Congress who did this. Name just one.

Yes, Psalm 109:8: "Let his days be few; and let another take his office."

I don't know of a GOP candidate who is for an abortion ban in ALL cases. You should know this, since you claim to be a Republican: most Republicans are not for a total ban on abortions.

obamacare is a lead weight which will continue to be a drag on the economy. It needs to be repealed. The only way it passed was through shady backroom, closed door deals -- you know, the very kind obama the candidate pledged to be against.

The EPA serves no useful purpose, other than being a politicized office. The IRS has also proven to be a partisan, politicized organization. BTW, there are only a couple candidates and very few in the GOP who want the EPA and IRS shut down.

Show me where obama or Democrats have compromised in the past 8 years. They haven't. Not once. The reason the US has lasted over 200 years is because of Godly and good men who stood firm in their convictions.

Every opportunity to, what? You didn't complete your sentence.

Oh, I understand the liberal, always a victim, everything is racism place you're coming from. And yes, it was very much politics as usual. Ex: look back at how Democrats treated W.

The reason obama won his first term was because voters wanted to "make history" by voting for the first black President. That's the sole reason the majority of voters had for voting for him.

And the reason he won his second term is because people like free stuff. obama's economy and lack of jobs caused a massive increase in welfare recipients. That, and Romney wasn't the best alternative to obama.

People did not vote for obama to make America greater. They did it out of purely selfish reasons.

That is not my intent.

Let me clearly state that the entire GOP is not racist and rabid.

Even at the height of the undignified stupidity the President went through, there were people in the GOP who didn't participate in it and realized early on that such questions were pointless and not done out of anything positive at all.
Really? You sure about that, JD? Because many of the threads you create and posts you make claim the GOP is racist.

Here are just a few from one recent thread:

So, the GOP is racist, but you want to make it clear that you don't intend to claim the GOP is racist.
