Then you turn around and say, "someone said bad things about me!"

Could you imagine their looks?

People who were tied to stakes covered in pitch lit on fire, and all we can say is we had someone say bad things about me, put me on their wall of shame?

There were Apostolics who had to watch their children dressed up like little lambs and marched out hand in hand with the older children into the Circus Maximus. While one loan minster from the early church armed with only a Shepard's staff to defend them.

I've never sued anyone. Then again I'm not a dictating preacher that tells people what they can and can't do based on some archaic and misapplied scripture. To each their own tho.
For me if it where someone that I never talked with to include family I wouldn't care one way or the other. True friends know who you are anyway right? Unless they are brainwashed by a preacher.
As for the Duggars.... They held themselves out to the world that hated what they stand for so they are paying the price.
It would have been better for the young man to came out as a leader and example of how to overcome such a bad choice in life. He could have help others in this temptation. But like a lot of Christians or church leaders it is better to cover and pray then be open and honest. IMHO.
