What is the deal as far as apostolic movement there (Costa Rica, not Myrtle Beach)?

We've never been, so I can't recommend anything right now. When I get home, I will be a virtual wealth of info!

I knew Jessica was at quizzing today and Jeremy is at youth camp, so my brother is feeling a little empty nest syndrome this week. Actually they are probably LOVING it!

Both Jeremy and Jessica have been good quizzers; I'm proud of them for working so hard at it.

I went many years ago when the girls were young. We really enjoyed it. I am sure it has changed alot since then.

Very open politically, but almost all of the country is Catholic. We are actually going on a work trip to help build a third children's home at an orphanage called the Abraham Project. There are 17 of us going. It's where my daughter volunteered for a year after she graduated college in 2005. Very impressive place!! This is one of the very few orphanages in the country that is Protestant. They would not consider themselves Apostolic, I'm sure. But it is a Spirit filled group, and they have a church on the orphanage compound that we will attend on the Sunday that we are there.

Yes I've heard about its politics, also that it is the most stable country in the region. They are the only country without an army. I saw some video of it and have met some beautiful people from there, hmmm...it struck a chord with me, that's all. My bro studies Latin American religion, I will have to ask him about a oneness movement there. Hope you have a great trip!

Thanks; it is a very safe place to vacation too. We went there last year to visit Ashley (hubby, me and son). We had a great time and the country is gorgeous!

When Ashley lived there, she went to an 8,000 member church called Oasis in San Jose. It was AG, but they shockamooed and ran around way more than AG in the United States. She loved the worship!!
