I'm a fan of just about any car restoration show, Berrett Jackson auction and Extreme 4x4. Was into the custom bike reality shows for a while but moved on, got tired of all the drama.I kinda like Duck Dynasty too.

Re: What Is Your Favorite TV Show

There aren't any new shows I care for other than Pawn Shop...although I have to admit I just don't watch much TV at home except reruns on Netflix or Amazon. I love Stargate SG1. I wish they did not cancel SG Atlantis and I wish they had a better plan for SG Universe

  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

I thought Stargate Universe started out pretty weak, but toward the end really loved it. I am still hoping someone brings it back and takes all those poor people out of stasis!

Re: What Is Your Favorite TV Show

NONE,

I have a TV, but haven't had it on for month's, maybe a year.

I know a lot of you are going to think I'm an old pudy-dudy, but I am 82 yrs old, and the closer I get to heaven, the more of the 'spirit of this world' is sickening to me. I run from it.

And I know, this will fall on deaf ears. I used to like a lot of those shows also, especially the cowboy with the woman Dr. (can't remember the name) and Hometime and all the Home decorating shows. The art shows and some cooking shows. And always Fox News.

And judging some of what I think will be some of you're reactions, is how I thought when my mom, and dad's reactions were, when some of us were watching TV at their house. (They always had a housefull of family. My brothers would turn on whatever they wanted to watch.) Mom would say something like, “Why do you want to watch such stuff?” or “Lord, help them.” And I would think, “Mom, just doesn't understand todays thinking.”

Mom and dad were in their 80's and 90's Dad liked to watch the news, nothing else.
Now, I understand mom's thinking. The worlds way of looking at things----STINKS TO HIGH HEAVEN. I want no part of it.

And yet, I don't believe in legislating what people do or what they watch. It has to come from an inside conviction. "Birds of the feather flock together,"

Sister Renee, I can relate to what you are saying. The older I get the less tv I watch. A lot of the reason also is due to the contents of the programs today. It seems to get worse with each passing year.
