That is what I am afraid of, I saw him years ago at the height of his career, before the problems, and he was amazing. I have seen videos of him live more recently and it seems kind of hit and miss, sometimes he sounds really good, and others, not so much. He really has not taken care of his voice at all.
But, regardless, just for the sentimental value, this will be great! His music has followed me through a lot of of different stages of my life.
I am just cracking up that he is going to be so close, and I almost missed it. I have checked up on his touring every once and a while and if he had come to anywhere within 3 or 4 hours of here, I would have gone. This church that he is going to be at, I literally drive by it on my way to work every day!

I had a great Friday. Just got back from dinner with 3 of my kids and their families. I got to sit between 2 of my little granddaughters. They love sitting with their granny. I share my food with them. They think they are so grown-up.

10 hr day for me tomorrow. Lots of second home owners are only available on week ends so I work every Sat.

The life of the small buisness owner. I don't think I will do 10 hours tomorrow maybe 4 or 6 but then I already have 60+ for the week as of right now.

Nothing is fun about Friday. Where I work Friday is no different than Monday...or Wednesday, except that I tend to be more tired than the rest of the week from the rest of the week...and there's not much I can do to avoid that since I have to get up for work at 5:45am, be to work by 7am, get off at 3:30pm and have class from 6pm to 9:40pm three nights a week, two of which being Wednesday and Thursday...
All I can say about this Friday is that I bought ice cream...and intend on getting mself a bowl sometime soon...
