Only in the trailer parks across America. LOL

We will never know if things like increases in autism and sleep apnea is merely an issue of more cases being diagnosed (which is very likely), but I do find it funny how people SURVIVED drinking nothing but unpasteurized milk, eating BACON and eggs every morning, drinking out of water hoses, and cooking with lard, while sleeping in lead lined cribs as babies! Granted, all the smoking during the mid 20th Century probably wasn't that good for people........

Good way for Docs and clinics to make big bucks! Do you know how much a sleep study costs???? LOL

Just one more thing that modern medicine can help with where before people just died earlier suddenly or developed heart disease from it that shortened their lives.

Obesity is a big part of the uptick in it. It also affects people with small throats more. I discovered from this ordeal that I have a very small throat. Oh, and I am fat! Two strikes against me.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

I am in the middle of a 40 day fast with my church. The first ten days I just finished we fasted from meat and sweets. Those are my two favorite food groups!

Today, the 11th day, we transitioned to a different type of food fast. We can eat anything but only one meal a day. I didn't eat anything today, worked through my headache, then ate my first meat (steak at Logan's) and sweets (brownie from Starbucks).

I was disappointed that after 10 days of no meat or sweets I only lost about one pound. Arghhhh!!!!! I think most of the things I was eating in he place of meat and sweets was fattening (cheese ,etc).
