So right.
I had an uncle by marriage that pastored for many years in New Albany. He was involved in a long term affair with his church secretary, and his wife was AWARE- but never told. When he was discovered,(by a church member that called Bro. M) and the DS at the time took care of business- the pastor left the church, went across the river and started a new church- along with his 'affair'. (wife passed away shortly after- cancer) He married the 'affair'.
RESTORED?

By man, apparently. By God, I don't know.

It is not right to judge a sister by the length of her hair. If a person believes it is wrong to cut their hair and they do not cut it, it doesn't matter how long or short it is, God is the judge. My hair has not grown in many, many years and I have not cut it. I do not wear it down for fear there will be some like you, who will judge me.

Re: Former Memphis area pastor preaching a confere
UPC teaches people to judge other sisters by the length of their hair.

I was NOT judging anything...I was stating facts and replying to another post. I myself do NOT have long hair and have been judged many times. I am sorry that you took offense or took it as a personal judgment. I know many "apostolics" who trim/cut their hair and I do not judge NO-ONE for their personal walk. Let every man/woman work out their own salvation. Please accept my apology to you personally.

I accept your apology, I did not take your remarks personal, how could I? You don't know me and I don't know you. I just think it is a double standard to imply that the sister may cut her hair because it hasn't grown in seven years. and then comment that everyone works out their own salvation. It that truly is the case, then why is shoulder length hair wrong. For the record I am not UPC and I do not cut my hair. I do not mean to come across harsh, I am only commenting for the sake of discussing. That is why I added a smiley to my last post.

My pastor teaches that if your hair is uncut, that is long hair, however long or short it is.
