The Bible claims that we are saved by the shedding of Christ's blood in many verses. You pull out one obscure verse, which can mean whatever the custom of the time wants it to mean and equate it with murderers and child molesters. Murderers and child molesters harm other people. How is cutting one's hair harming another person? Give me some logic on how cutting hair is on the same level as the most vile perpetrator that harms mankind?

We are simply called to be living extentions (branches) of Christ (the vine). He in the Father, we in Him, and He in us. He that is united to the Lord through the Holy Ghost is one spirit with Him. We simply surrender to our oneness with Jesus through the Spirit and allow Him to live through us.

Hair isn't a issue at all. Paul was addressing a decensy issue among the Corinthians based on their culture.

How am I deluded when I don't believe any of these things about hair or pants?

I am not UPCI. I left the UPCI. I "visit" three different institutional churches, two are UPCI and one is baptist. Today, I primarily gather with house church worshippers in homes, parks, coffee shops, etc. So... I'm wondering if your "deeply spiritual decernment" is off. Lean not to your own understanding. Ask questions, get to know me. You came right out of the gate judging me. Relax.

Bro. Eply is conformed into the image of "old time Pentecost". And I seriously doubt anyone here will change his mind. We must leave Bro. Eply be and seek to be conformed into the very image of Jesus Himself.

I mean no harm to you Aquila, but Bro. Epley inserted himself into this conversation by insinuating he knows what God hears and what God does not hear. I would like to hear what scriptures Brother Epley has to be able to make such claims in addition to and to support his claims in the scriptures contained in I Corinthians 11.

History has shown that he will throw out these hand grenades, and then go silent when asked to back up his claims.

I like Elder Ep, too, but sometimes he needs to be called out.

Elder Epley has a kind face and it seems inconceivable to me that someone with such a kind face would make such bold statements as to what God hears or does not hear someone's prayers without presenting unrefutable scriptures from several sources in the Bible about those who will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

In these scriptures below I see nothing about women who cut their hair.

I Cor 6:9-10
Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Revelation 21:8
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
