3.15 a gallon today in Pensacola.
I just found out they are going to use us as a model city for emissions so its going to go up significantly. Our economy is based on tourism and military.
So I have to wonder the intelligence of making us a model city for emissions.

My husband bought a Yaris because of the high cost of gas - his drive to work is approximately 90 miles/round trip. We've been driving the Yaris whenever possible to save money. Surprisingly, our family of five fits quite comfortably in it. I'm glad for that since it gets MUCH better gas mileage than our minivan.

how about we place some blame where blame is due - on the gas companies that are boasting such "record" profits....
NO, that is called capitalism. I for one WANT the oil companies to make money. That means they pay dividends, and that means reinvestment in other companies, and in Mutual Funds, and 401K plans, and more taxes.

This is what makes America a great company.

I guess I'm going to stick with the vehicles I have.... they are both PAID FOR.

If I had to make an automobile payment on top of buying gas right now... the vehicle would end up repossessed.
