I know a couple of pastor friends that went on a tirade on Facebook about those people that "caved" and cancelled service. Sounded more to me like their outrage was more self-centered than anything else. I think it's a reasonable decision either way. No need to get all bent out of shape about it. God can be honored in either scenario.

Re: Are You Having Church Sunday?
Well, we had a nice service with my Aunt and Uncles church. There were probably about 30 people in attendance, and at the end of service we had communion. It was a wonderful time. Not everything went well, the keyboard died in the middle of service, but that did not matter. It was replaced and we continued the service. It was a good time.

The church we attend didn't have church Sunday. That was kinda what spurred the thread.
I'm sure it would have been great though... had we.

Re: Are You Having Church Sunday?
I hear that. I was not sure about it, as you could have gone out of town. I am glad that you had a great Christmas though. Are you having church next Sunday?

Re: Are You Having Church Sunday?
We had one service that we advertised as a Family Service from 10 till 11 AM. We had no idea if very many people would show up or not, but we were pleasantly surprised. We had several hundred show up and had a really sweet service.
