Right. The OP movement was influenced by the Weslyans when many Methodist ministers picked up the OP banner. They gave us our "holiness standards." Their influence is still strong in many of us. Though it may not be evident by our appearance, it comes through in our thoughts/opinions/perspective.

Re: What's Your Theological Worldview?
I agree. My Grandfather was raised Baptist, but my Dad was raised Pentecostal as was my Grandmother. My Mom (if memory serves) attended Methodist services on occasion before reaching her teens. The influence of what we believe and why were doubtless what led to our being more closely tied to the Wesleyan/Holiness perspective.
As for the list, those are answers that tell where your beliefs cross with others. I was shocked to find that I was in agreement with Emergent groups by a significant percentage, but I would guess that it would be in areas that all of us would have a few basic places for agreement.

Then, my results must reflect the old Methodist ways. My first thought was modern-day Methodists, hence my statement "far from it."

Re: What's Your Theological Worldview?
Nope, it makes its appeal to John Wesley who was a founder of the Methodist/Holiness movement. That would make you of that line. I think that most modern Methodists and others actually fall closer to the Liberal/Emergent side of the line. You can put them, the Baptists, the Nazareens, etc. in a can shake them up and you likely would not be able to tell most of them apart doctrinely.

Re: What's Your Theological Worldview?
Interesting indeed, though I would be labeled more liberal than my peers, I guess I'm conservative enough to still be "Evangelical Holiness/Wesleyan".
You are an evangelical in the Wesleyan tradition. You believe that God's grace enables you to choose to believe in him, even though you yourself are totally depraved. The gift of the Holy Spirit gives you assurance of your salvation, and he also enables you to live the life of obedience to which God has called us. You are influenced heavly by John Wesley and the Methodists.

I would say that the first in the list is what a person is at their core beliefs, and then the rest are what gives color to your main beliefs. For instance, according to this my main outlook is Wesleyan/Holiness with strong influences of Fundamentalism and Pentecostalism.
You were somewhere heavily influenced my Wesleyan/Holiness thought, but five of your next six points of agreement are with groups that are known for being theologically liberal in outlook. This is why people say that you are liberal.

32% Roman Catholic.. I believe that comes from my strong belief in social action along with the gospel and I have failed so much in that area!
