I think OP's are the more conservative bunch while the Oneness and Pentecostal are the charismatic bunch. Although I could be wrong. lol
Yes, it reminds me of how charismatic originally only meant having the Spirit of God inside you as on the day of Pentecost, but was changed over time to be more associated with other things that the movement was associated with that are totally apart from that belief. Now it is a bad word amongst conservatives. Words change definitions over time with people until they lost all original meaning altogether. lol Sad, but true.

yeah, they can be addictive, one of those things that you have to do in moderation if at all.

I guess that makes me Oneness and Pentecostal then.

Trinitarians who know trinity properly would agree with your belief statement here and call themselves trinitarian. They do not believe in three God's, but one.
I didn't say Three Gods
I said God is One not Three. Not There is One God not Three.
Trinitarians believe God (singular not plural) is Three
Notice again the grammatical nuance. I did not say "I believe Gods is one not three"...
I am referring to the One God and saying the One God is One not Three
They believe the One God is Three.
I didn't think I needed to explain that to a room full of OPs.
They believe the One God is Tripersonal
We beliueve the One God is Unipersonal

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
Every sinner must repent of their sins.
That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.
I said God is One not Three. Not There is One God not Three.
Right, and thanks for clarifying that up. I misread your words. But trinitarians still would say the same thing. It is the identity of the THREE UNITS that we would disagree with trinitarians over. They might still agree God is one not three, if they were thinking of units of deities.
Quote:
Trinitarians believe God (singular not plural) is Three
But you are still not delineating what the units are. Trinitarians might read that and agree saying God is one God, not three Gods, or One God and not three planets. lol. I mean you just left it wide open is all. IOW, until you actually say God is ONE person, not three, your statement is not clear enough
Quote:
They believe the One God is Three.
We can say we believe one God is three, also, but we would mean three manifestations and not persons. And we would be right.

I know what you meant. I agree. But if a trinitarian read that he would get confused.

They might. That was Oneness shorthand

That depends on how you define OP and how you define Apostolic apparently
