Sarah Palin chose to have her interview here.
Any opinion Americans developed of her based on this interview would never have been developed if she didn't agree to this in the first place.
She knew that the turkeys were being killed behind her and called the whole thing, "fun."
See, this is yet another reason why it's best for Sarah to just silent.

Has anyone else used those poultry funnels for killing birds? We used to use them I would kill several hundred on butcher day at my oldest sister's place. They are pretty neat. Allows an immediate kill and bleed out without bruised birds.

Totally honest speech here. I stand with Dick Cheney, if she is the nominee, I will vote for her. I will support our candidate. She even took a shot at McCain for calling the Tea Partiers, "Hobbits". Good for her!

She did? I thought the whole point of the MSNBC story was that she was " unaware of the carnage?"
She had the interview there because she was doing the traditional/annual pardon the turkey thing. Governors (and Presidents) do that on a regular basis.

Well, here goes my bias against her-- if I didn't think she was an idiot to begin with, then maybe I would have thought more of her interview.
Furthermore, I don't even watch MSNBC at all-- don't care what they think or say.
I don't remember GWB ever doing an interview with turkeys being killed in the background as the interview is being conducted.
GWB appeared to be always in control whenever he spoke. He commanded respect when he spoke.
She chose to do that interview at that spot.
The alternate camera view wasn't what was broadcasted nationally, but to this day, I know of people and laugh with them about the day Sarah! lost the little bit of respect for her judgment we had for her.
It was the day the turkeys died!

You can try to paint as "normal" the craziness of a VP candidate doing an interview there all you like.
I will never be convinced.
This interview was done AFTER she had already had other bad interviews.
Very poor judgment for a national leader.

She won't get on the ticket unless it's as VP again-- maybe. Personally, I don't think she's president material.
However, I definitely don't think she's an idiot in any sense of the word.
