Ok, if you want serious ---- I plan to have a picture of Walt and me etched on the front of our stone so that generations to come will know what we looked like. I do our genealogy and can't tell you how many times I've wished that I could have seen what a certain ancestor really looked like. That's my gift to our posterity. Other than that, probably just names and dates.

Two years ago I bought a double gravestone, had it inscribed and placed.
Is that serious enough for you?

I can imagine what it might be...but I won't be writing it...so....
I hope it's something along the lines of:
Loved God
Loved her family
Was a Christian
...that would be enough to make me happy.

Someone posted the "I Told You I Was Sick" one....
The lady I work with, she actually put that on her mom's tombstone. There was a long story behind it...but the words were fitting.
