Scary thought that some Pentecostals would actually find validation among Islamic extremists...

*sigh* Superman has nothing on you... able to jump to inane conclusions in a single bound. It's TRIUMPANTMAN!!!!!!!!!
I was just saying that because people who, by your reasoning above find validation among modern styles & trends, seem to reserve such judgement for people who dress this way (almost as if it were evil) when, in all probability, it is very similar to the way women dressed at the time of Jesus.
I have no desire to see my wife wear the "blanket" that has been spoken of in this thread but I also have no desire to ridicule others who choose to wear it.
If there are women being beat into wearing these things then that is another subject entirely. One cannot just paste a wholesale accusation that every woman wearing this garb has been pistol whipped into submission.
People, oftentimes, have the same conclusion about conservative pentecostal women.
Why?
Because they don't think like we think and so they assume that we must oppress these women to force them to wear such conservative clothing because they just cannot imagine anyone doing it because it is what they love, how they feel and their desire to do so.
