And YES, a thousand times YES I'd like nothing better than to see nothing done by this president and the democrat controlled congress the last two years then what they accomplished.
We'd all be better off and richer for it.

Maybe you think you would be richer and better off for not helping the elderly and the people in need, but when people have no food for their kids, they will do anything for survival, even break in your house.

There are plenty of ways to please republicans. Stop turning this country into a socialist nation, adhere to the constitution and get their hands out of our pockets.

Most republicans don't even know what is in the constitution, like Michelle Bauchman, Donald Rump and the other clowns.

There is a story about a talking bird in a pet shop. Everyday a woman that worked up the street would have to pass the pet shop going to the corner cafe for lunch. She stopped and looked into the pet shop window, and the bird said, "you are soooo ugly", the woman got offended after about three days of being insulted by the bird. So she went into the pet shop and told the owner that she was tired of being insulted, and the shop owner promised that the bird would never say it again. The next day the woman was going for lunch, and passed by the pet shop, and looked in at the window at the bird. The bird said, "you know".

IF this were true, and I doubt it, it has nothing to do with the tax rate but tax breaks. This includes liberals that are wealthy too.

Second, many people not that wealthy don't pay any taxes or don't pay a lot because of the level of their income or because of tax breaks.

The irony here is the rich liberals want you to believe raising the tax rate is the answer when in reality they will continue to use the same tax breaks to pay little to nothing.

If they want to pay taxes so much, let them take less tax breaks

The real facts are that the wealthiest pay the lions share of the taxes and around 46% pay no federal income taxes at all. So, all your little liberal pet programs are being paid for by the upper and middle class taxpayers.

If we would just go back to 08 spending (the republicans idea) all those programs would be funded, just at a rate we could better afford.

But, hang on....if the libs have their way nobody will get anything, no pet projects, no free rides, we'll be totally out of money.
Do you have any idea of what is happening to the dollar? Do you not know eventually we will go bankrupt if the democrats keep spending at this rate?

The government is out of other people's money. OUT....now we're borrowing 43 cents on every dollar. What are you going to do when we have to borrow more and more and our credit rating hits bottom?

What has your comment got to do with the jobs in the USA? India probably has plenty jobs for their people. In fact, I talked to a rep. for my Orchard Bank credit card and I couldn't hardly understand him. When I asked where he was located, the funny talking guy said "India". I said to him, that is why our country is hurting for jobs. They have bought up most of the Gas Stations in my state.

Do you believe, that I believe that only republicans are in that top 2%? If you do you are badly mistaken. President Obama said that he did not need another tax break, and the guy that started FACEBOOK is a democrat and he agrees with President Obama, at least he did today on the Facebook Town Hall meeting.

You are right, it is the level of their income. How could a family that has an income of $26,000, pay as much as someone making $50,000. Gas, car repairs, clothes, etc. prices are not based on your income level. Even harder on people that are unemployed, think about that, put yourself in their position.

You speak of rich liberals, the President is speaking of ALL the rich, including himself, they all have the same tax breaks, which should be done away with, if they are making $250,000 a year. Some wealthy folks even said back years ago, that they didn't need their Social Security check.

So what's stopping them from cancelling their SS checks or returning them?
And what's stopping those who want to pay more to pay more?

Do you not realize those making 250,000 are mostly small business people who provide jobs?

And who are you or who is the government to act like it's yours or their money?

God disapproves of taking from one He has blessed and giving it to another without the owner's express permission. Or do you never apply God's opinions to anything political?
