If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? Micah 6:8 KJV
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 1 John 3:2 KJV
Because a slave wouldn't throw something sharp and pointy at me when I say "Get in the kitchen woman..."
I've never thrown anything sharp and pointy at my husband. I will admit I've threatened to throw stuff at him.
He had this habit of doing things to annoy me when I was washing dishes. I had a big popcorn bowl in the sink and I told him if he didn't leave me alone, I was going to throw a bowl of water on him.
He learned quickly that he should have taken my threat seriously. I lifted the bowl out of the sink, filled with water and reached over my head and dumped it all over him.
He hasn't snuck up behind me anymore when I was washing dishes and tickled me again since.
Does not the Bible imply that slavery is ok?
Also, most of us are, hopefully, slaves of Christ.
In our day, it is probably cheaper to hire the help, instead of having slaves.
