I quoted from his page, typed his name, my intent was not to "attack Rob McKee." You can choose to call me a liar if you wish. I'll still like you even then ....

As for the AN... well, your discretion is not everyone else's. Have patience with us I don't know what information provoked them to blast the forum (and it sounds like you agree with AN, so that makes more sense). That wasn't my point. They did, and that makes them fair game. Not to mention they are a "news site."

It isn't the RM name. This is the title of the thread. It just comes across as personal to me. Prodigal Son Distorted by FB Pastor. So, I am not calling you a liar. I saw that you asked to have it changed.

I don't know anything about AN. I don't read anything there and didn't even know about them. I'm just saying, if it was me, I would choose to ignore the slander. Mainly, because, when I told my kids NOT to do something, they wanted to do it. Well, my daughter, not my son. LOL! PO, to the topic of my thread title, perhaps I could have worded it as "Prodigal Son Distorted?" FB Pastor maybe was too personal?

It's just where I had just read it. It was fresh on my mind. And when I removed his name, it seemed far better than my first title.

Anyway... it is what it is. I don't even know RM, have nothing personal against him (other than I wish he'd get more Gospel-centered hehehe), and certainly do not care to harm him with words.

I have always liked Digging and reading his posts, but this sentence in his first post is not laying down a gun, IMO. It comes across as accusing and antagonistic.

This is the thread where you can drop in and leave a message for all of those who have "left" this forum due to the continual insistence by those who frequent this forum to question things.

That is often the case with PO & I.

But it isn't necessary for people to come to the same conclusion to have good debate. It's just that sometime it is taken as an attack... sometimes it isn't.

The hard part is knowing when which is which. Or at least knowing when to leave it be.

I don't think anything that I believe has changed. Don't believe in the HMH thingy and that standards are heaven and hell, if that is what you are referring to. But, I never have believed that.

I think that we are all liberal, moderate and conservative in various areas of our lives. I'm not sure we could emphatically label ourselves in only one. I lean more conservative, but not in everything. Did I answer your question?
