A Being that speaks and Galaxies are formed is beyond me!!

Chapter 15 -- Gordon Fee's treatment of this is beautiful. Why was Paul so insistent on the bodily resurrection? You'll have to read it.

But you are right about the bolded. Arrogant and Ignorant are pretty similar.

God the Father manifest Himself in flesh, but that FLESH was NOT God the Father; that flesh (the son) was indwelt by God the Father. Here is a perfect example. A man that teaches we cannot understand what the scriptures tell us to understand. What was the purpose of Jesus, the Apostles and prophets in giving us teachings we would never be able to understand? And dont forget my inital post also pointed out the danger of men teaching on a Christian Forum (such as NFS) who teach others the Bible is corrupt. You have no doubt destroyed the faith of some.

That's not what he said at all.

NFS has found a place to be open and honest and I've found his posts refreshing -- in fact I identify with many of them.

To say the Bible gives us all the answers is just nonsense.

The Disciples preached Jesus as Messiah, the Son of God. They didn't hold godhead debates. They spent their time and effort proclaiming the Gospel.

If it were all so clear, we'd have a letter with a systematic explanation of exactly how this Jesus and God relationship works. We don't have that. You don't have that. When you say it's "plain" you sound ignorant. Centuries and centuries, men brighter than you or I, men filled with God's Spirit... they couldn't agree on what this looks like exactly.

Then along comes MTD to tell us all exactly what those ancient words mean --- and the words that were never written.

No offense, Mike, but you continue with "Pot Shots", not addressing the true nature of my post. You always come back to "He thinks the Bible is corrupt" but have yet to rebut the facts I've laid out where problems are known to exist in history, translation, and methods of interpretation. I’ve had more success in debating with Ultra-cons than with you.

I don't mean this to be harsh, but you have very shallows views in Faith and you don't seem to be willing to consider errors or proven contradictions. I think it's fair to at least consider someone else's opinion or view, regardless of how radical it may seem.

It's all about your IDEA on the Godhead, or it's NOTHING! I guess my question to you would be this; will you CHANGE if proven wrong?
