Pants cover more thoroughly, therefore ladies can be a bit freer, without worry about exposing themselves. Don't you think? Therefore, for the modesty issue, pants that fit comfortably (not too tight) are more modest.

Her speech is even different.....when she has her pants on. This is entirely different from the lady she always was before.

Please don't think I'm saying all women are like this....but I know some are.

Just saying.....
Some of that has to do with self-consciousness. Also, at least for me, some of it has to do with just enjoying having legs again, and some has to do with the fact that I can't sit the same way in pants as I would in a skirt (sitting on one foot or crossing my legs). Neither crossing my legs nor sitting on one foot was healthy, and sitting on one foot wasn't very appropriate in some settings either, but they were still my habits.

There are some differences in a woman's carriage when she wears skirts or pants--for instance, a woman used to wearing only skirts will spread her knees apart when trying to catch something, making the skirt a net of sorts. A person used to wearing pants will put their legs together when catching, again to form a net or backboard of sorts. People walk differently in skirts and pants as well. In theater, rehearsals for plays that the women will be wearing skirts in (especially petticoats or crinolines) are done in similar rehearsal skirts--women take smaller steps in skirts, for starters.

I act a little different in a skirt too...

Like tripping on stairs in Easter dramas...

and trying to stay modest in an Egyptian shenti for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Yup!

But I've seen it happen in real life since then too.

I do believe that dressing a certain way can almost compel someone to act differently. For instance I am nearly 100% sure of the first words out of your mouth if you dressed and wore your hair like this.

Take another look when you are out and about! Many young girls attire look
much like those DA posted. Looks like the world to me! What wife and mother
would want to raise their little ones to look like the world.

Too many parents are thinking only of themselves now. ME ,ME, Me!!! Just
wait until those babies and then the grandchildren started growing up and
the parents who were their pattern (mentor), will see what they produced!
Only by then, the culture will be much worse. They may be going totally nude.
I probably won't be around to see it! Thank God!

A few short years ago, the girls and ladies at the largest church in our city,
would not be seen in pants in church. Yes, they wore them elsewhere. But
now it not uncommon to see the younger generation in short shorts going into
that church, and others. One elderly neighbor/member of that church told me
shortly before she passed on this year, that she was embarrassed at the way
some of the members of her church dressed. Even one of the pastors wives.

AS THIS OLD WORLD GROWS DARKER, THE CHURCH OF THE LIVING GOD IS
GOING TO SHINE BRIGHTER AND BRIGHTER!!! The LIGHT shining
from within those that have the LIGHT within, will understand.

Again, these words are not to offend, but to provoke thought! I am older,
but it may be too late by the time you get older! If I can provoke one young
mother to see it for what is, my words will not have been in vain!

Re: Ensey Strikes : Women who wear pants may go bi

Fall, I was raised by a mother who wore pants, jewelry, and makeup. She bobbed her hair and ours. But before I ever came in contact with Pentecost, I was modest. When I got in church, my necklines were usually higher and my clothes looser than those of the other girls and ladies in church. I hadn't been taught rules and standards, three finger spaces or six inches, but I had been taught principles and common sense.

Not everyone today, in or out of church, teaches modesty principles. There are shocking clothing styles in Pentecost as well as out of it.

Not to side track this topic... but isn't "bobbed hair" a hair "style", and doesn't refer to the term "to cut at all"?

When I think of "bobbed" hair, I think the flappers of the 1920's (drastically short), but not simply "cut or trimmed" hair.
