Reid's (AND Murkowski's) network ran pretty deep. Reid's Tea Party opponent made some mistakes that the dems were quick to jump on, the perceived racist ad a week b4 the election really tipping the scales. Joe Miller never really had a chance due to the DEEP rooted network the Murkowski's have in AK. If ever there was a dynasty in AK, it's the Murkowski family.

I saw Palin's Alaska on TLC Sunday nite. She comes off as a "regular" sourdough. That is if you consider sourdoughs to be regular people. Outside of "flyover country" people in the lower 48 really can't relate to a married woman that fishes, hunts, believes in God, is pro-life.
Todd comes off as a loving but strict dad. I didn't know he was native american.

And truth be known, I don't feel the need to jump on the Obama wagon here. There's plenty of irrational hatred here for Obama. A little reality checks from time to time are probably healthy. Even that little temper of yours....

So great to "communicate" with such a level headed, calm, non-attitude, never a temper, person as Socialite. It's so great to know an "Obama saviour" like Socialite. Poor old Obama needs someone to take up for him, so Socialite is there. Doesn't matter about priniciple, honesty, truthfulness, being a man of your word, (and there are plenty examples of Obama not keeping his word)....let's just take up for Obama! Put Bush down, (and by the way Socialite, Bush is no longer President) put Palin down, put down, put down, but take up for Obama. If you and the main stream media had asked Obama as many questions as they ask others, Obama wouldn't be president today!

Let me go pray... for Socialite and Pres. Obama. They need the prayer and I need the practice!

You got it all wrong. All these men and political parties have failed us. I'm just not blind or dumb enough to believe one side is evil and the other good. I've never advocated for Obama's policies. I've usually tried to add a voice to balance out the irrational hatred on this forum of him.

I'm not the only Conservative that isn't supportive of Sarah Palin, let's get that straight.

Great book and very revealing. His dad had a talk with him He said to try any and everything and keep fighting in the middle east as a last resort.

I'm more open-minded than any of you! lol

I was active politically for 8 years of his Presidency. I watched all his interviews. I read his addresses. I defended him with as much gusto as you do. I've come to respect him as a man, but also see major flaws that contributed to some major poor decisions he made. He came in as a Small Government conservative and left office with one of the largest governments in our modern time. I wasn't happy with him politically. And... I changed my mind on him. My praise and support turned into balanced criticism, not being afraid of applauding or criticizing him. I don't wear my political colors like I do my football teams. They are all fair game.
