Remember McFly, when you go back in time, everything that's already happened becomes "the future" until you go Back to the Future.

I don't know MB, but his words sounded quite 'ravenous' and 'extreme.' He uses a much more gentle tone, but the content is the same.

Of course, those were MB's gentle and balanced attacks on his brethren. Not as balanced and gentle as Deadheart's attack on any woman on this forum, who may modestly wear pants and jewelry, of which he categorizes with whorish streetwalkers.
The "you're just bitter" line is textbook, stale and predictable.

Dan, did he say that women that wear pants and jewelry were whorish streetwakers?
I have seen many a whore in a dress and not painted....
I don't have time to go back and read the threads but my own blood sisters wear pants and jewelry and no they are not whorish and much less streetwalkers...lol..
I don't like to put people into certain catagories ...it is like preachers that say all male musicians are queers or all women preachers are lesbians...
I certainly think we all need to be christians in every manner...and the first step toward becoming like Jesus is to have a pure heart. We all are in the presence of a God so HOLY he wieghs our spirits...that is what is scary to me...HE sees in the deep hidden corners of our hearts...
Being judged by the JUDGE that sits in the heavens should cause us all to walk softly before HIM and with love embrace whatever HE may ask us to do.
While we may fuss and fight trying to decide what that is we can all (ME) included can work on our hearts and attitudes. We can learn to be kind even to those that are not kind to us!
I was on the plane the other night and the girl beside me said, You are a christian aren't you? I said yes, and she smiled and told me she too was a christian. It was her first time to fly she was going to work in another state.
Dear ones, I will tell you if you are a christian others will know...
Got to go help with some of the people arriving from other areas for our convention so time does not permit me to write all I would like to write...
Anyway in the meantime...PRAY MUCH...SEEK THE LORD...FORGIVE...

Not quite yet.........The danger is to equate man's rules with God's laws. In a knee-jerk reaction we can throw both out or create sinful standards that Scripture knows nothing of......seems to go one way or another.

Holier-then-thou attitudes are incompatible with the Gospel of Christ.

Is someone has strong beliefs, but tries to state them as politely as possible, I don't think it's fair to project the maliciousness of others onto them.
The end result of the line of thought is the same and we all know it: Don't spoon or wear shorts, or you'll split hell wide open, you heathen! If a person can refrain from making such offensive statements, though, even if they think it...I think it deserves at least a couple of brownie points.
There are people who actually fear that others WILL go to hell if they do certain things. They feel an obligation to speak out because of their concern. It isn't always malicious and shouldn't be characterized that way every time.

Thanks, Sis.
You are highly respected here on the forum.
You are more "conservative" than most of us
and it is good to see a "conservative" post without judgment, hell fire and brimstone, and a holier than thou attitude.
It's interesting that you have family members, or "blood sisters" as you call them who wear jewelry and pants and you don't put them down.
I remember you telling about visiting a mission (I think it was a mission) in Chicago or somewhere when you were on a trip to the U.S. and then commenting that you didn't know if it was trinity or not but it didn't keep you from visiting there.
Whether we consider ourselves liberal or conservative, we can learn from you.
