Dude, mom doesn't lie. I get my frankness from her. Believe it or not I was one of the quietest kids in school.

What took the Catholic church hundreds of years was accomplished by a nephew who wanted his uncle's shoes and it started a deluge of Benjamins.

You do realize, don't you, just how difficult it is to believe this, right? I even sent you an FB message trying to find out if you're really serious. Maybe I'll call my dad. I mean, there are some low lows to dip to but auction off shoes of people who have died? Say it ain't so.

I with Liberal, I'm hoping this is a bad joke. I want to say I can't believe it, but I guess NOTHING would shock me anymore.

Ok, you've convinced me. I'm hoping this was the actions of one lunatic they couldn't shut down. I'm beyond shocked.

Can you imagine the uproar among UPCer's and the like, if TBN, during one of their praise-a-thons, auctioned off Benny Hinn's shoes? Wow, they'd make a ton of money. They might should send a representative to the UPC Conference to learn how to fleece people. Well, actually they already have one of the old guys doing their fleecing, the Munsey nutcase.

Just when you think you can't be shocked by church.

After supporting his regime for years, Falla shelled out more for regime change, with more innocents dying as "collateral damage", and then tacitly supported his hanging.
Preechin' moral relativism? King saul tried that and it didn't work for him either.

Speaking of deluges:
Bro. Scott Graham preached a powerful message today during the Youth
Service. He spoke of those who destroy/desecrate the influence/memory
of those who gave their lives for the things of God. In doing so they destroy
the hope of the next generation after them.
If I run down the things my former generation gave me, and gave their lives
for and I run it down to the generation following (children) and they run it
down to their children (my grandchildren), how much damage to the family
have I caused.

Eccles.1:4
4 One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh: but the
earth abideth for ever.

Very, very sobering to me. My old grandmother didn't give her life and my
late parents their lives for me to run down what they passed on to me, for
me to destroy the confidence and hope for the next generation. What will
they have to pass on to the next generation!

I can assure you those children of those who do so, will inherit something
we never intended for them to receive. I've seen it happen.

This is something we must all think about! I don't want my grandchildren
to inherit a critical spirit that I might have passed on to my children. God
forbid!
I was so stirred over Bro. Graham's message because I know that it is so
true.
I would highly recommend Bro.Scott Graham's message today.

But it's OK to criticize or cover over the beliefs of the old pioneers who preached that salvation happened prior to water and Spirit baptism? and to promote the Affirmation Statement by falsehood to divide the body?
