I.Q. tests often return low scores for uneducated people, that doesn't make them unable to know right from wrong, stand trial, or know the consequences of their actions. In her case She was found to be competent both to stand trial and that she knew what she was doing when she planned the murder.
I believe justice was served in this case, I have no reservations. There was no doubt she organized and planned the death of two innocent people. In a case like this there was no doubt she was involved in the murder. The only ones claiming she was not responsible for her actions were people with an agenda, her lawyer and those who oppose the death penalty for any reason.
The fact that the other two only received a life sentence is not relevant. Each defendant is entitled to his or her own trial and the outcome need not be the same for justice to be served. Has anyone taken the time to see why they received life?
Oh and Codie do me a favor and just shut your pie hole. I hate having to defend a position after you come in and post the... the... the... stuff you do that just makes no sense at all. Talk about a legend in your own mind. sheesh.

I was against the death penalty until I read a book on Ted Bundy. So, that's why I say that I am against the death penalty usually, but think it may be necessary on rare exceptions. (I've read a lot of books....more than just Ted Bundy, but he is the obvious example.)

Yes, she could have been responsible and not executed, but she was responsible and deserved to be executed. When I get a speeding ticket I deserve to pay the fine. She orchestrated a murder and had to pay the the fine. She was not incompetent to stand trial and she was not only responsible but aware and knew what she was doing was morally and criminally wrong.

The laws were made thus so that a woman with a low IQ who did not kill anyone was executed for telling someone else to do it. Wow, she must've been some persuasive person.  She should have fired her lawyer and fought her own case.

Actually it's you shall not murder. The Israelites were commanded by God to kill under certain conditions of a judicious matter

Not trying to be rude but you don't have a clue. A low IQ might keep you from being a chemist but it doesn't excuse murder. Her lawyer didn't blow it SHE DID IT! Hello???

Excusing murder and killing her are two different things!!! HELLO??!!
I am not for killing a woman for telling some guy who is too stupid to not listen to a woman with a low IQ to kill her husband and step-son. Put her in jail. Fine.

P.S. I wasn't saying her lawyer blew it. I was saying tongue-in-cheek that if she was so persuasive she could talk a guy into killing someone, she should have been persuasive enough to keep herself out of the electric chair or however they did the deed.
