But there is a lot of liberal bashing that goes on, too, and no one starts a thread complaining about it. Just recently there have been at least three 'conservative' posters who have used some pretty obnoxious language towards those they don't agree with. Yet no one started a thread complaining about it, they just reacted to the poster on each particular thread.

As I said before, I call it a draw between the two camps.

I want to discuss scriptures, political issues and have some fun. All the other stuff just makes me feel tired.

I've been following that thread, and while I certainly could have missed something, it's been pretty tame and boring. The closest thing to an "insult" was when some unnamed poster bumped the "Dour Women" thread in response to this thread.

The conversation ended with me assuring her that I was going to love her just as much now and tomorrow as I always have. And with a hug, me and this 17 year old rebelious teenager walked away with more respect for each other than most adults do here on the forum.

I am a conservative, not quite as ultra anymore as many of you have known me to be in the past, and I have walked away from here and been away for awhile. I may not believe what most liberals here believe, but there are some liberals here I would give anything to spend the day with because they have shown a spirit that makes me want to fellowship with them. And there are liberals here who make me want to puke because they have nothing more to offer than lewd comments and sarcasm. On the flip side of that coin I cringe when I see some conservatives on here hold a position and themselves as rightous while sending everyone else to hell because I know that I will get broadbrushed with the same attitude.

The bottom line is fruits. Be it liberals or conservatives, the fruits will tell the truth. While some here are "notorious" posters because of their posting antics, they show no fruits of the Spirit. These are the ones that unknowingly live by the creed "ignorance is bliss". Anyone can argue and post sarcasm or win a war of wits. But even as childish as they seem to everyone else, they are still brothers and sisters in Christ and we are all trying to walk the same road.
