Well as the 53rd post for this thread (unless I take too long typing!), you are not going to get a discussion about how to leave, or find, a member-minister sponsored local fellowship that does not, or does, share your doctrinal views.

This forum may be a good place to engage your understanding of John15 and the overall category of Eternal Security. Why not start a thread and take time to contribute you voice into that discussion (sorry if I have overlooked you already doing so). Certainly be aware that folks may post making no effort to speak with kindness in the packaging of their dissenting view point.

For the record, I do believe in once saved always saved, but I do not believe WE ARE SAVED until we endure unto the end, dieing out to unbelief, patiently possessing our souls.

The second birth, the birth of the Spirit, is NOT eternal salvation...just ask Demas and a few other notable witnesses that the NT scriptures provide.

Welcome to AFF.

And Coop will most likely start a poll entitled "Should religious nut leave the UPC?"

And for the record, I will just be stopping by occasionally to make funny comments

This post is so funny but true.

Come on Bro. Price... how many churches have you been a part of in the last ten years? The numbers show what you would really do. I know what the talk says, but what does the walk say?

Excuse me, Bro. Moon. I said what I would do. Oh, I am sorry. I forgot. I can never ever be delievered of an unstable mind. I bound and determined to die and bust Hell wide open for my past mistakes. I am lost, and will never receive forgiveness. I can never see the blood of Jesus deliever me from myself, and keep me working a good and stable work in His Kingdom. I forgot.

PLEASE!!!!!
I have been delievered from my wanderings. I know what I should have done and what should be done in this situation. Now, please, continue trying to keep me in my past, while I strive for my future.

Of course a christian who believes in Jesus Name baptism and the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues!!!
Most Apostolics are very sensitive about being called Christian and even nowadays, Pentecostal!

I have even heard over many a pulpit comments such as, "We'll let the world be Christian, we are Apostolic to the core!!!!!!!!!" (Shakamoo music to follow)...

LOL!!! My answer is what you get when you ask how obviously estimated figures were arrived at!!!

The 99% was not intended to be a scientifically arrived at figure but one to indicate the great gulf I believe exists between the theology of most UPC folks in the area of security and mine.

Most of the UPC folks I have known over the years don't believe they would make heaven if they had just hit their finger with a hammer accidently, yelped out a four letter word, then died instantly or the rapture took place.
