Besides... I don't like Macs!!!

I bought one of these back in January when my gateway notebook (that I paid $1600 for 4 years ago) died and went to hell.

$329.00

I am not a gamer, but it would run stuff like the sims no problem. I run Adobe CS4 on it with no problem, plenty fast, InDesign and Photoshop are both pretty intense applications. Internet on it is fast (wireless-N, dvd payback and straming video on it is flawless.

No complaints at all on it. I have even grown to like Windows 7
Yeah I paid $350 for my laptop...games? That's what my desktop is for lol

BTW Alienware got bought out by Dell...that stinks but check out their laptops :-)

Re: Laptop Recommendations??

Well, I went ahead and got the Sony, I figured in what everyone had said and decided that it did have what I was looking for, and I liked the professional reviews as well. I had allocated $800 to spend and I spent every dime, plus a few extra for tax... but the kicker for me, besides it having everything else I wanted (including numeric keypad..) was.... I GOT IT IN PINK!!!!!!!

LOL, yes, it is official, I am a total girl, I cannot believe I did that!!!! I make fun of people like me!

I'm SO excited!!!!! AND, it just became time for my phone upgrade so I also ordered my first iphone today!!!! I feel like a rich girl!! For a day at least! Then I will leave work and get into my broken-down, hand-me-down Cadi, with it's jerry-rigged windows and last-legs sputtering engine and I will come back down to earth!! But hey, at least I've got my priorities right, eh???
