Yeah, I got that and it was hilarious but that last post, to which I said, "Huh", didn't make any sense, thus, the "huh"! But I get it that you were explaining that you were making massive fun of me and mocking me!

Re: It's Tiger Week!!!
Regarding Tiger: I have no respect for him, whatsoever.
Can he earn my respect back? Certainly! How? Time and only time can do that. Same with his wife and everyone else. His religion won't help him. It is as dead as its pot-bellied founder. I pray that he finds Jesus and has a real experience with Him that truly changes his life. Until that happens, he is just another rank (filthy rich) sinner! (like I used to be) Now I'm a redeemed sinner!

If I can borrow the reaction of Timmy and just say....
"Sigh."
"As dead as it's pot-bellied founder."
No one claims that Buddha is alive, not even Buddhists. Buddhism is a thought philosophy as to how one should control one's conduct. It's loaded with Christian principles, mostly the ones Christians have missed. Many Christians could greatly benefit from studying a bit of it. Check out the book, "Living Buddha, Living Christ", by Thich Nhat Hanh.
Note: Please be careful as your words could potentially offend all our pot-bellied AFF members.
"I have no respect for Tiger, whatsoever."
That's too bad because you're just like him. You're a human being who comes short of God's glory ( Romans 3:23)
"Can he earn my respect back?"
So you're expecting Tiger to jump through all your hoops, first? Thankfully, Jesus didn't think like this when died for us while we were yet sinners.
"His religion won't help him."
Help? Yes, it will. As to the extent of that help, we'll see.
"Until that happens, he is just another sinner!"
...which describes a huge part of the population you're trying to reach. Do you also view them with such disdain and disrespect?
"(filthy rich)"
This isn't the first time you've brought this up. If I didn't know any better, I'd say you're jealous. What does his money have to do with anything?

I don't care how well he plays golf. He's a sad and pitiful person, and lost soul. I pray that he finds Jesus Christ, who will bring real peace to his soul.

Re: It's Tiger Week!!!
Well, Tiger's going down in flames. We're in mourning here at our house. Looks like "Tiger week" is just about over.
I'm now rooting for Phil.
But, it looks like Tiger's back so we're happy about that!

Most of the world's religions have Christian principles. That's because they are the source of all morality.
"I have no respect for Tiger, whatsoever."

Just expecting Tiger to do what king David did.........when the fame of his repentance exceeds the fame of his fall, he's outlived his bad reputation. He'll then earn my respect back. It really means nothing to anyone but me and I'm sure I'm not the only who feels that way.
"His religion won't help him."
Help? Yes, it will. As to the extent of that help, we'll see.
Not in the end it won't and not to the end he really needs for sure.

Not everyone. He should have known better. There is no excuse for his actions. If it were me, I'd feel the same way....no excuse and it would take a long time to earn people's respect. Just the way it is.

Nothing except a descriptor with double entendre.

Re: It's Tiger Week!!!
ManofWord's words in normal font, mine in red.
Most of the world's religions have Christian principles. That's because they are the source of all morality.
••But there isn't and hasn't ever been a claim of a "God" who's name is Buddha. It's a "way of life" philosophy and it's a darn good philosophy, by the way. I led a Buddhist to the Lord a couple years ago.
I'm not like him in at all. I used to be just like him. Now I'm redeemed.
••You're EXACTLY like him. You're a human being prone to depravity. You and the Second Law of Thermodynamics are identical, and it says, "All things have the tendency toward disorder". And the moment you step operate outside the order of God, you have the same potential as Tiger. Are you saying it's not possible for you to fail?
Just expecting Tiger to do what king David did.........when the fame of his repentance exceeds the fame of his fall, he's outlived his bad reputation. He'll then earn my respect back. It really means nothing to anyone but me and I'm sure I'm not the only who feels that way.
••You don't know what Tiger has done with his sin and the one he sinned against. Nor should you know. He has profusely apologized and taken TOTAL responsibility for his actions. What would you like for him to do...watch your windows, and mow your yard for a year? Seriously, what more would you like out of him?
Not in the end it won't and not to the end he really needs for sure.
••And you have no idea where his commitment to self-control, moral guidelines, and the boundaries of Buddhism will lead him. As it does with many, it could lead him straight to Jesus Christ and His grace.
Not everyone. He should have known better. There is no excuse for his actions. If it were me, I'd feel the same way....no excuse and it would take a long time to earn people's respect. Just the way it is.
••To earn "people's" respect? Fine. But to earn our respect, we who spend our lives reaching for broken people? I don't understand why you would respect some who don't have Christ and wouldn't respect others, specifically, Tiger. Baffling. What did he ever do to you?
I still think that maybe Tiger's wealth and fame is problematic for you.

Re: It's Tiger Week!!!
It's sad, all the criticism on Tigers game? He got his criticism for his infidelity...rightly so. It's time to move on. But I find it sad everyone is negatively criticizing his game as though nothing has happened. A LOT has happened. Besides being out of the game for a while and not on course practicing, being in rehab, his wife leaving with the kids and all the media hype, they really think it's all that easy to come back and play well enough to win the masters? He tied for 4th which isn't bad for his first come back
