Re: DKBs 1st Test: Will He Uphold Manual w/ Craft?

Sunni,
Sorry but they don't even do that. Not one person has ever filledout a form.
No one pays dues in that sense either.

Michael, can you explain for everyone just what the process is to become a "buddy" or whatever in the WPF? Do you just show up and then get appointed to a council?

How could you and I join today?

You just send a Friend Invite. Once they accept, you can start posting jobs and wish lists that they can then start doing.

So it's like being recruited into a Mafia on Facebook? That's the process?

Well my brother inlaw is a member of a WPF church, he is a minister but his license is with the local church. (ex-upci)
When they say fellowship they mean fellowship/friendship/community...of like faith.
Each church issue's out there own licenses.
I don't believe you would want to be apart of it, because of what they believe.

Re: DKBs 1st Test: Will He Uphold Manual w/ Craft?

"But I digress .....I have to question the legitimacy of any WPF General Council member who is not a member of the WPF to participate in the functions described in their bylaws ...

Their vote would, I believe, be void.

This position as described is more than just an advisory position." -DAII

I don't really think the GC has done anything... It is such a new group that I think they created more organization than they even use at this point. I am quite sure Bro. Craft is not doing much advising since I have attended all the recent large meetings plus more... and have not seen him at ANY of them....

And yes, even though it makes your 'concerns' about his dual-involvement a bit dramatic (and obvious of your never-ending agenda by bringing it up), I think the general council was a name dropping exercise initially while they were seeking legitimacy- and really has had no role so far... I would have to be unconscious to deny that they have not made mistakes in their start up process. I have no desire to hash that out on this forum.. Some of you keep boredom at bay by doing that- I, myself enjoy a good book, walks around the lake, and twitter .

As far as the other, Bro. Craft is a wonderful man up in age.. It seems just mean to pick on him.... Oh well, 'tis what it is; he probably could care less anyway...

I really did not intend for my few posts to be for the purpose of the Faithful Critics and Illustrious Leaders of Sarcasm to pick all apart.... I do realize though that I was asking for it when I jumped in on one of your threads.

I have never been of the crowd that thinks organization or leadership is not open for scrutiny. But with the very sad fact that I get my feelings hurt- (I said it was very sad!), my minority-WPF-self (albeit, I am a girl- with NO card) will stay clear from this point from inviting argument... I have no desire to further become the spokesperson for all their bylaws, agendas, etc.... Once again, I just liked Bro. Craft....

Re: DKBs 1st Test: Will He Uphold Manual w/ Craft?

sunni, hey i think you took it wrong.
Its just that many here don't really know much about the WPF.
This year I'm actually moving to a "WPF-church."
No Limits is next week and I'll be driving out, I tend to lean that way.
However, what I said about loopholes/word games. I'll admit it. Its true.
Now the question is, is it wrong? Naw.
