America will not have another civil war until there is a complete breakdown in the government and a split in the powers. When and if that happens there will be civil war. As long as power transfers as it should after an election America will not have a civil war. As long as there is an established form of government the people will not revolt. An uprising that is common people against the military would be nothing more than domestic terrorism.

Stew, I think you are a sincere christian and support moral policies, but you never take sides in the liberal/conservative arena. I am a conservative democrat. I am a democrat when it comes to the economy and a conservative when it comes to social policy. I think you are as well but you never spell it out.
Im not sure what issues you are referring to, but I am very vocal and clear about my stances on issues. What I am not clear about is belonging to any one political party or set of proscribed thoughts. I am an individual thinker. I would be considered liberal on some issues and conservative on others and passionately and genuinely so.

I guess it depends on if you are a Lex Rex or Rex Lex guy.
When the king, or the ruling authority, no longer abide by the law but instead insist that they are the law and are not subject to the law, that is when violence is justified.
