I don't know anything about the author you cited here. However, I do clearly remember seeing in a very small article that they did find WMD and the press played it down. I have heard from soldiers that came back that they found evidence of the WMD.

I don't have time to do any research on the subject at this time. But I believe someone is trying to rewrite history again. Seems like if they can rewrite history for nearly a 100 years ago, what would 10 years be for them to rewrite?

I don't trust any politian no matter what party he is a part of. And I trust the media even less, if that is possible.

I originally was a democrat and changed to over to the Republicans when the dems lost their original stand for moral issues.

I think he is referring to holding onto a belief when all available evidence points to it being wrong, specifically Barak Obama not being an American citizen.
Every public figure needs to be vetted as thoroughly as possible, but there comes a time when it turns from reasonable questioning to just beating a very dead, very wrong equine.
I write this as one not very trusting of either side.

Absolutely correct. There comes a point when people who question set in stone facts begin loosing credability.

You don't know who Bob Woodward is? He's one of the most respected journalists of the past three decades. He's the Woodward of the Woodward and Bernstein who's investigative journalism began the process of Watergate and ultimately Richard Nixon resigning from office.

His books are respected as very factual accounts of historical events.

Seriously though, how about putting personality aside and talk about policies? Dems and Repubs both have a long way to go. I just wish folks on the Hill could keep their word whatever party they associate themselves with. WE need to quite making everything about party and start focusing on what is right and best for our Nation.

Esther, I would have believe that if WMDs had been found in Iraq like they were claimed to be there...the Bush administration would have made it abundantly clear to everybody in the world. That one issue has been a sticking point and a constant source of criticism of him and the administration. I guess I just don't see where the motivation would come from for him to keep it a secret. The press can't play down everything...or anything of that magnitude. I would imagine it would be something that he could discuss in one of the State of the Union Addresses.
The proven presence of the types and amounts of weapons they claimed made war necessary would go a long way toward validating his claims and relieving a great deal of criticism.

My problem is with those that think you have to be a republican to be a christian. These people lie to themselves when they think the Republican politicians are against abortion. Most republicans could not get elected if Roe V Wade was overturned.

Being Republican does not a Christian make! But wouldn't you agree that being for the those who have no principals, morals, or ethics doesn't seems to be all that great either???? Come on Light let's be reasonable, doesn't the current path of the Democratic Party seems to be out of line with the Constitution, Founding Fathers, and Biblical principles? Killing babies is not right, promoting the sin of homosexuality is not right, usurping the God given rights of life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness is not right....is it?
