Ed....i don't know where to begin. i think you got some bad weed or something.
1st...what/who is your movement(ALJC, UPCI, First Church of Ed)...and who are your young people?
2nd...i've never read where God endorsed any religious movement...when & where did this happen...and did He only endorse yours or some others?
3rd...as someone who has a Pentecostal experience...i think you have a great misunderstanding of what an Apostolic is and is not...your definition is ridiculous...where did you get it?

I mean, hey, EVERYBODY claims to be Pentecostal nowadays! And this global outpouring of the baptism of the Holy Ghost is not real revival because most of these 1 billion people plus who have spoken in tongues do not follow legalistic, 19th century standards.

where did you get this info? it doesn't make sense.
6 billion on planet earth...1 in 6 on the entire planet are tongue talkers...this is not so in the city I live in. how can these numbers include the millions who have never heard of Jesus or the Bible...how can this be so when the 2 most populated countries (India & China) don't have this ratio.
fuzzy math....did you get these numbers from Al Gore?

- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

I think the numbers are right.
They do say 6 - 700,000,000 Christians today claim Asusa Street as there denomination or movements beginnings.
However the One Billion people claim does not secify LIVING people, but takes into account all peopel that have lived.

i think Ed believes they are living...how could dead people follow 19th century holiness standards?
who is "they"?
so you believe that tongue-talkers almost out number U.S. citizens 3 to 1? 1 billion to 300 million.

Okay, I'll play. Give us your definition of "Apostolic."

Ed, I think you're way too concerned with labels and the org. Just my opinion. Love ya, but I think you're agonizing over this a little too much.
