It isn't offensive to me - it actually happened to me the other day - my child was doing a little acitivity in a work book and the instructions were to circle everthing that began with the letter F - it was a picture of a beach. So - I hear her over there saying, fish, fence, flower, etc - well she decided to just make every item in the picture begin with the letter F - and one of the items on the page was a bucket - yeah she said it

LOL. That reminds me of the time I gave my youngest (3 y/o) a storybook I had bought at a yard sale to "read".

All of a sudden she yelled out and started to cry, Mama, I can't read this book, it's got "nekkid womens" in it!

Concerned, I picked the book up, and LOL (as my kids called them) there was a woman in her " babin" suit.

It was everything I could do to just have NO reaction to it - if I would have died laughing then corrected her she would have gone and told everyone what she said. I have learned the best way to get them not to repeat something like that is just try your hardest to have NO reaction and sometimes it is sooo hard
