I am hopeful we can be reminded of perils WITHOUT endless commentary while staring into a tent with a bare-nekkid drunk laying coiled up in some fetal position.

What this minister has done reminds me of what Paul told the Romans:
“For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.”

Enough said on the subject as far as i'm concerned, all is well with me.

Forums are definitely interesting in this regard. I, for instance, had no idea of your age when reading these posts. In that respect, the internet is a great equalizer. But there is no replacement for good old-fashioned life experience, and I know it's important to keep that in mind.
I do, however, agree with Abby that the great thing about this forum is that any claims that are made (no matter who posts them) will be under scrutiny and require facts to back them up. The forum is no respecter of persons - for better or worse.

I think most of us have found out who the real christians are that post here.
I know and have known all my life Shane´s family...I cannot remember when I did not know his grandmother...such a women...such a christan... however without meaning to sound like some judge...even from the best of families sometimes things go wrong....

Yes, Sis. Alvear, even in the best of families sometimes things go wrong - no truer words could be spoken. We've all seen it either in our own family or someone close to us. Making the right choice is up to the individual - we only pray our children remember what they've been taught. Sadly, sometimes they don't care - they have to learn the hard way that choosing right over wrong is the ONLY way to go!

Re: I just noticed on google former Dr. -- Mr. Va
I am a "U" I really am a U! If you don't believe me you can call my teachers. Want me to post my transcripts? I can! I really can! I graduated from Regent(s) with a U degree. Check their website(wait I'm not there but it is their mistake). I did graduate, I walked across the stage, (pushing a vaacum). I am telling the truth. I am successful! I sell financial products (my clients are all dead or not yet walking). I am the top salesman! Don't harrass me I am sick, I need a vacation (guess I will get one in prison). I am a man and a respected minister (I will have to learn to be someones woman in prison and become a SPECIAL minister!). DONT ARGUE WITH ME, I REALLY AM A U!!

I think when it's really sad is when the person is so convinced they are right that they don't know they are wrong.
