Re: Uprisings in Brazil

All this looks so awful, but then you wonder if God won't use it for His glory somewhere! ??? I am so thankful for the ministry that you have there. I would love to someday come down there and be a participant in what you are doing. Have you ever had anyone come from the outside (someone single, unmarried and a Christian) who just wants to come and help with whatever she can?

Re: Uprisings in Brazil

They do this exact same thing in Africa all the time - burning tires in the road. I wonder why? But that's exactly how they do roadblocks over there. Weird! I'll be praying for your safety.

(This is another one of those threads that I'm NOT going to let Eddie see. LOL!)

Re: Uprisings in Brazil

Good grief! First you are sick and worry us. And now you're living in a war zone so we're worrying.

Sis Alvear, we have an extra bedroom that's not in use right now if you and your sweet husband would like to come and stay and get medical treatment and away from the war!............... I say this in jest because I know you'll never do it. But in all seriousness, the offer would always be open for you.

I sent over 1000 bucks on things this week...and I do have a type insurance here!
