I think the impact depends on the region and how the local economy is doing. I'm confident that God will see his church through the hard times. I'm also confident that the house church movement will grow. I think in the end God will see all of his children through.

I don't know how the organization is run or where it can cut and restructure but it seems inevitable that IF there is a decrease in income, a cut has to come somewhere.

I know many, many, many, many, many, many (many in my own family) pastors of a certain organization that live very lavishly and drive Mercedes, Lincolns, and BMWS. They live in big homes and have RVS. Maybe we should give all tithes to the church directly and ask them to volunteer until we come out of this recession??
