I think 185 would be great. That will give you a five pound leeway. When you get to 190, you can back off.
Jeff weighs 175, and at his last dr. appt., she put him on fish oil pills for his cholesterol, told him to drop 15 lbs., start walking every day and come back in 6 months. LOL!!! He thought his weight was fine.

I haven't had my appt. yet...I'm sure she'll be none too happy with me, either.

Re: All about cellulite and the person

It's funny, because our doctor is not a small woman herself...LOL!!!! So Jeff was complaining about her not living what she preaches.

He said their conversation went like this:

Dr. S: So, Jeff, do you exercise on a regular basis?
Jeff: Oh, I'm very active!
Dr. S: Do you exercise?
Jeff: I walk all over the place all day long.
Dr. S: DO YOU EXERCISE?
Jeff: ...no.

I mean I can weigh as much as 150 at 5' 7 1/2" and still look like I weigh 130. If I get under 135 my hip bones are protruding. LOL!

A friend of mine went to see her GYN. He told her she needed to lose some weight. She said, "You look like you could drop a few pounds yourself."

Well, more than likely if he just lowers his cholesterol, she'll be happy with him. He's limiting his red meat and eating more oatmeal (as well as the fish oil).

She's the in house doctor for the co. he works for, so if we see her, it's free, as opposed to paying deductibles + 20%.

Anyway, Jeff was WAY too skinny when we got married--I would start loudly protesting if he lost too much.

I lost three pounds this week.

Funny saying that I need to gain it back!

No, I'm not superstitious and I don't believe it.
That was my understanding as well.

Cellulite is ..........................unacceptable but nonetheless verry difficult to eliminate.
