I know better. Newman's articles had a powerful influence on a lot of women regarding their hair and pants
Maybe you could provide a list of the women who were influenced into changing their stance on those issues? (by Newman's articles)

I never read the articles. I don't think they were on FCF any longer when I joined.

For me, my stance on those two issues in particular hasn't changed one iota, since I was about 24 years old.

I disagree...I'll openly admit this forum influenced me...BUT IT didn't change me. I allowed God to change what He needed to change in order for me to be more like Him!

She was only a small part. the forums have made an impact. all the threads over the years have brought about some change along with close bonds that were made. Are you denying that??

I'm not here to down the forum I'm still here aren't ??
I just would rather people be honest about it but for some reason they wont admit that the internet made any impact.

I have been influenced by the forum. I have become more tolerant of others and their beliefs and less tolerant of people who are judgemental towards others who do not believe like they do. I have not changed the way I dress or what I believe.

I was inspired by Newman to search the scripture.. but any changes in my life came about from personal study and much prayer. Not that many changes in my personal life anyway, but I am much more tolerant of others.

My changes have been far more remarkable inside than outside... I do not think the same....and thankfully actions have changed in my life since studying.

Ok Mark.... I'll admit you kept harping about the Hollywood folks and Homo's, so I went out made friends with some! Plus I gossip just like you do, yeah way cool???...Mark you have really made a change in my standards and lack of them these days...Again thanks!

Please, people change with age, so does their standard and view points!

But it wasn't until you joined the forums that you started cutting your hair right??

I just want to make sure I'm understanding it right

no.... well, I used to trim my hair when I was young (cut myself bangs in High School) trimmed my hair throughout my marriage until I was given a Ruth Reider Harvey book in 1998? and I decided to try the whole angel power thing. I let my hair grow for 4 years. It didn't work. go figure.

When i studied and saw the error of "power in hair" doctrine. I cut my hair, and pretty much have cut it off and on since... it is still long... my personal belief is long hair on women.... just that it doesn't have to be uncut.
