Mike, they lost.
Can you not be be gracious & kind?
Gracious and kind? What in the world are you even talking about?
I've only posted my observations about what happened last night and some events during the campaign. You must have me mixed up with Saint Mark or something.

I am only saying emotions are high & the respectful thing to do is to be kind.

You know you are being mean and ugly and disparaging!!!!
Wrong! I watched Hume and Barnes and Wallace compliment the Obama camapaign for how well they ran their campaign, at the historical significance of the moment, they were the first to call Ohio before MSNBC or CNN, they criticized the McCain campaign failures, they were VERY fair. No whining at all. Two hours after the election called? Plenty of time to recap and discuss and kick around the issues. My God they had been on the air since 4 pm!
Of course they did, what else could they say? LESS than two hours. To 'recap' one of the momentous elections in American history AND kick around 'the issues'? Is that really giving due time and attention to the moment? Hardly, they punted. No, that's not enough time considering the magnitude of this election. For two hours they pretty much acted all somber and sad and then went to the B team. It was disgraceful and embarrasing.
OMG, they had to work a WHOLE eight hours?! I'll rememer to whine when I have to work my TWELVE hour days, FIVE days a week. Geez.

I'm not trying to push any buttons actually. I'm commenting about my perception and observations of what happened last night and during the campaign.
So am I...and I'm enjoying pushing buttons too.
And it's getting boring already. I might just go back into my self-appointed AFF exile.
Steve Forbes is on FOX acting all somber and 'concerned' and poo-pooing O's 'good feeling'. He says the Repubs are in the battle for their existence. Puleeze! The fear mongering is already underway. They're already trying to divide and conquer! It never ends.

NEWSWEEK: At the GOP convention in St. Paul, Palin was completely unfazed by the boys' club fraternity she had just joined. One night, Steve Schmidt and Mark Salter went to her hotel room to brief her. After a minute, Palin sailed into the room wearing nothing but a towel, with another on her wet hair. She told them to chat with her laconic husband, Todd. "I'll be just a minute," she said.
How hypocritical of Newsweek. These are liberals that want to defend the sex industry from porn to legalized prostitution. They are going to make an issue of Palin being in her HOTEL ROOM trying to get ready and it appears she was seen in passing while she was trying to get ready, not sitting down in nothing but a towel to have a serious meeting. Could happen to anybody. Not a lot of privacy when someone else is in your hotel room. You guys are pathetic. Why are you so threatened by Palin you want to tear her down---she lost with McCain---go find a homeless person and give them some of your stimulus money and start being patriotic!
